This year’s theme centers broadly on the meaning(s) of spirituality and the relationship between spirituality and public life. Our Inaugural Fall Faculty Lecture, for example, will complicate the meaning of “spirituality” within a global context, attending specifically to its applicability in nonwestern cultural settings.
In the spring, the Faculty Talk and Experience will consider the connection between spirituality, nature, and wellness in a post-pandemic world. Intended as a “walk and talk,” we will have the opportunity to return to nature as a site for spiritual healing.
This spring, we are thrilled to announce that Professor Philip Sheldrake, one of the world’s foremost experts on spirituality, will offer the Inaugural Annual Keynote on spirituality and public life.
